About Dawn Short

I’m Dawn Short, a lifelong Lincoln County resident with a heart for service and a deep love for our community. For nearly 25 years, I’ve worked in the Clerk of Court’s office, gaining hands-on experience across departments and building a reputation for integrity and professionalism. Outside of work, I’m a proud wife, mom, and grandma who finds joy in faith, family, and helping others—whether through church ministries, community outreach, or simply lending a hand where it’s needed.
